Handicam (2024)
Cinematographer, Colourist
Made as part of the 48hr Film Festival, Handicam follows a paranoid couple on the run.

48hr Film Festival shoots are always great fun, The improv nature of the entire process allows for so much creative freedom on the spot creativity. The essentially no pre-production in these shoots aside from a loose script and story means that the short film really shapes itself one shot at a time throughout the usually rushed shoot.  Handicam was shot on the south facing bays of Wellington deep in the night and utilised a lot of handheld camerawork which is always my favourite.
